“The Prayer”

I’m curled up cozily in my large russet leather chair by the lit Christmas tree, sipping my wine and nibbling on freshly baked gingerbread cookies.  I listen to the “The Prayer” in the background as the peace of Christmas glides gently around the room and into my heart.

I pray you’ll be our eyes, and watch us where we go.
And help us to be wise in times when we don’t know
Let this be our prayer, when we lose our way
Lead us to the place, guide us with your grace
To a place where we’ll be safe
